New Appointments in Jordanian Government

The Jordan Times reported today that the Council of Ministers today appointed Fares Al-Qatarneh as Director of the Prime Minister's Office. Mr. Al-Qatarneh was Chief of Protocol of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs prior to his appointment. Meanwhile, Hazem Khatib, Counsellor at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, was designated as the new Chief of Protocol to replace Mr. Al-Qatarneh.

Aside from Mr. Al-Qatarneh, the Council of Ministers also appointed Maen Nsour as special adviser to the Prime Minister and Issa Gammoh as Secretary-General of the Ministry of Tourism and Antiquities.
