H.E. Ambassador Junever Mahilum-West, Chairperson of the ASEAN Committee in Amman from July – December 2016, hosted the 3rd regular meeting of the ASEAN Committee in Amman (ACA) together with the members of the ACA Technical Working Group headed by Consul Cassandra Sawadjaan, on 23 August 2016 at her residence.  The group discussed the activities of ACA for the second half of 2016 that will further promote the ASEAN in Jordan.  The ASEAN Committee in Amman is composed of the following ASEAN resident-Embassies in Amman: Brunei Darussalam, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines and Thailand.








Please be advised that effective immediately, Host Government officials will be conducting inspection campaigns of all foreign workers in Jordan for residency and work permits.


All Filipinos are hereby enjoined to legalize their status and abide by the provisions of the Jordanian labor law to avoid being subjected to legal proceedings.

Apichart Phetcharatana, outgoing Chairman of the ASEAN Committee in Amman (ACA), in a turn-over ceremony held at the Thai Residence last July 22, 2016.  H.E. Ambassador Mahilum-West presides over the ASEAN Committee in Amman for the second half of 2016.  The ASEAN Committee in Amman is made up of the following ASEAN resident Embassies in Amman: Brunei Darussalam, Indonesia, Malaysia, Philippines and Thailand

The Embassy of the Philippines in Amman is pleased to announce that the SECOND BATCH of voter’s IDs of Filipinos in Jordan who registered from 2009 to 2012 are now available at the Embassy. Below is the list of 435 registered voters whose IDs may now be claimed at the Embassy. You, or your authorized representative, may claim your ID at the Consular Section of the Embassy from Sundays – Thursdays from 9:00am to 3:00pm.

Kindly help us share this information with our kababayans in Jordan and Palestine.

            The public is hereby notified that the registration records of the following registered overseas voters have been ordered deactivated by the Resident Election Registration board of Amman PE per RERB No. 001-2015 dated  29 September 2015.

                                     Please see attached


            All registered overseas voters, whose registration records have been deactivated, have until September 30, 2015 within which to contest the deactivation. Please visit the Embassy for your application for reactivation, the deadline for which is 31 October 2015 only.

Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Royal Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan Ms. Junever Mahilum-West presented her credentials to His Majesty King Abdullah II bin Al Hussein on 03 June 2015 at the Basman Palace in Amman. Ambassador Mahilum-West was accompanied by Consul Cassandra Sawadjaan, Labor Attache Florenda Herrera and Second Secretary Candido Bontogon, Jr. of Team

Philippines in Jordan.


The Embassy of the Philippines in Amman celebrated this memorable event with a salo-salo lunch for the whole Team Philippines in Jordan.


The Embassy of the Philippines in Amman is pleased to announce the launching of the iRehistro project of the Commission on Elections, which makes overseas voting registration easier for qualified Filipino voters by accomplishing the overseas voting registration form online.

Please take note that this system will only facilitate the process of accomplishment of the Application Form and you still have to personally appear before the Embassy for biometrics capture to complete the filing process.

Please print the accomplished form and bring it to the Embassy for your biometrics capture, together with your passport or any valid ID. 

Overseas Filipinos in Jordan and Palestine are encouraged to use this facility which is more efficient than manually filling up the registration form when applying as overseas voter at the Embassy or during our outreach services.

Exercise your right to vote in the May 2016 national elections.  You can shape our future by choosing the right leaders of our nation.
